From the producers of the award winning film “The River’s Divide” comes a new series of adventure films featuring Donnie Vincent. "My love of hunting and adventure is no doubt ancestral. However, it was my father’s stories of hunting northern Maine and his collection of Jack O’Connor authored books that inspired me most. Man, those stories of mountain hunts, grizzly bears, pack trains, hunters taping out their Dall sheep horns by lantern; it was all I ever wanted to do. Today I am driven by my own adventures, if for no other reason than to find my own great stories. This is my adventure." - Donnie Vincent The first film in the series "The River's Divide" is now available on DVD: http://bit.ly/KfV07e For more visit http://donnievincent.com and follow Donnie on Facebook: http://facebook.com/followdonnievincent

The pursuit of excellence through the art of Japanese Archery or Kyudo - 'the way of the bow'. Over six years ago we posted a kyudo video which received many comments, most of which focused on the master archer missing the target. For many people it is hard to separate success from not hitting the target. In our new film, One Shot. One Life, one of the kyudo masters is very accurate... he simply never misses the target. Yet he states: "The techniques for facing and hitting the target are quite simple. I used to be a national team member, and at that time I had to hit the target no matter what, practicing until my hands turned black. Eventually all that technique became obsolete in exchange for the ability to express myself through the bow." In our film this master archer prepares for the extremely difficult 8th dan grading, whose pass rate is below 1%. But for all his ability to hit the target, can he pass this strict examination? We leave you with more quotes from our film that offer insight into the art of Japanese archery... "Even if we dedicate a lifetime, we will not be able to master it. If we keep this in our mind we can continue further. This is one of the things I was taught by my Sensei and I will not forget. I strive to practice everyday feeling like a beginner. My Sensei often said "when we face the target we are facing ourselves as a mirror". It is wrong if we do not face the target in this manner. Ultimately, no technique is left, no form is left, nothing but the archer's humanity remains. For the observer, this is very beautiful. It makes you feel admiration for that person's handling of the bow." ONE SHOT. ONE LIFE. For release summer 2013. For more information visit www.emptymindfilms.com

We, the fortunate ones, have learned to enjoy it. The world, as we see it, is different. It is vast, mysterious, and enticing. It is our home, and we are thankful for it. Both a playground and a dinner table, a gym and a classroom, the wild lands that we enjoy so much give us more than we could ever offer thanks for. At Rockhouse, the outdoors is also our office, and this is some of the very best work we have done there. This film is our way of saying thanks. Thanks to the mountains, the water, the trees, the birds and the beasts and our friends, and our family, and you. Thanks to you for making our dream a reality, our sincerest hope is that this gets you out the door so you have your own memories, stories, and images to share with us. Now is the time to GO! Matt, Dustin, and Aaron

Millions of people take to the woods in pursuit of whitetails each year in North America, but what is it that they are truly hunting for? In this film, we’ll join a trophy hunting bowhunter, Dustin Lutt from Nebraska, and Aaron Hitchins, a traditional party-hunting rifleman from Ontario in their first deer season spent in Kansas, the nation’s whitetail capital. With polar opposite perspectives on the sport, how will a season in the heartland affect their views on this Game of Inches? An official selection of the Hunting Film Tour, this film is about more than bowhunting, more than deer. It is about creating an understanding between all of the parties who share our love for the hunt, and reminding them that regardless the specifics of their pursuit of choice, to evaluate what it is we are truly hunting for. PLEASE comment with feedback on the film, we are looking to create discussion here so don't be shy about your opinion!
