    2014 was a year to remember for Elevated Thought. Between the everyone on the crew, our students, partners and supporters, this was our most productive year as an organization.                 Boerendansen (Bauerntanz, barn dance) is an animated reflection on a work of art: a couple of paintings by the flemish painter Pieter Bruegel d.Ä (1525/30-1569). There's no narration, only music. Since the script is very much built on the music, you may call it an early music clip. Keep in mind, this film was made in 1978 with purely analog film production (16mm), using lots of stop animation ─ I don't remember how many hours I worked on the moving lights in the end titles alone, but it was MANY. The movie starts with as a slide show, in those days the common way of presenting paintings in art history lectures. But it then moves somewhat away from the common...
