How to promote fiction on a factual channel like Current Italy? This was one of the most delicate and complex promotional operation in Current History. We decided to show it from our angle: the fiction and mini-series we choose, are to be taken as another way to see the world. You don't just rely on Information. Information, Journalism, are not enough, because they put a filter, a distance between you, the viewer, and the ral core of a fact. We show you another way to approach reality: by living it, like you are here, and no news reports can do it. Only fiction. So, also from a creative point of view, the promo was meant to be evocative, pulsing, storytelling rather than content-providing. Fiction liberates you, so you can see the world. That's the brilliant paradox and provocation of the whole campaign. Sir David Attenborough reflects on the early days of conservation and more specifically the work of Peter Scott, who was instrumental in the formation of WWF. He talks about the issues facing environmental organisations today and speaks passionately about the need for conservation groups such as WWF. On a lighter note he touches on his career in the broadcast industry and the love he holds for the natural world.
