Blue Chalk traveled to India and documented the story of two sisters, both born blind, and followed them through the emotional process of receiving their surgeries and seeing for the first time. Working with a top-tier creative team including photographer Brent Stirton, cinematographer Robert Wilson, editor Greg Snider, music composer Tyler Strickland and executive producer Rob Finch, Blue Chalk created a short-form video in several different formats to support its fundraising efforts as well as a library of high-quality still images that WonderWork can use in printed direct mail pieces. "First Sight: Sonia & Anita," as featured in "Two Blind Sisters See for the First Time," will support 20/20/20, a WonderWork charity that aims to bring 20/20 vision to the 20 million in need. Blue Chalk is working with The Weather Channel to produce a series of short films to be shared across the web and adapted for television. The films tell the stories of real people for whom having an accurate weather forecast is essential. Our seventh film follows Stan “Stitch” Markus as he prepares to fly his T-6 Texan warbird in formation at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, an international air show for more than 500,000 aviation enthusiasts each year. The T-6 Texan warbird is a single-engined advanced trainer used to teach pilots to fly during WWII. These antique aircraft have limited instrumentation, so having an accurate forecast is crucial to a safe flight. Blue Chalk is working with The Weather Channel to produce a series of short films to be shared across the web and adapted for television. The films tell the stories of real people for whom having an accurate weather forecast is essential. Our fourth film follows commercial bee-keeper, Dave Hackenberg, as he trucks thousands of bees across the country to pollinate the country’s crops. From January through the summer, Dave loads his semi with hundreds of hives and drives from the almond tree blossoms in California to Florida and then onto Pennsylvania for apples, and finally all the way up to Maine for the blueberry pollination. Dave must track the weather forecast closely for the first signs of warming temperatures and spring so he can get his bees to the blooms on time to pollinate the year’s food crop.
