1. Communicating with people who have hearing loss- What You Need To Know

from What you need to know / Added

If you search for 'Deaf Awareness Training' on Google, there are a lot of sites returned, but if you ask a 'person in the street' what it means, they're unlikely to be able to tell you. That's why we called our video 'Communicating with people who have hearing loss', it may not be as popular, but it's easy to understand. This video is aimed at people who have little or no understanding of hearing loss, deafness or what can be done to help two-way communication. Although people sometimes receive some training at work, it's probably even more likely that this video will be more relevant to someone's personal life - communicating with an elderly relative, a neighbour or a stranger in the street. You can see all our videos on our website www.whatyouneedtoknow.co.uk

There is not enough “explosion” of information from media, newspapers, or magazines about America's first Deaf exoneree. As a result, less people are less aware of the incidents in the past, present, and future. This is a serious issue that the awareness is not enough to be part of our collective consciousness of the whole humanity. The Deaf man who was wrongfully convicted and spent 20 years in prison---should get free tickets.....for the biggest game of the year. No more media privileges!
