          • How do you go to Adoration?

What an opportunity we Catholics have to adore Christ in the Eucharist on a daily basis in adoration chapels around the country. Did you know that adoration was suppressed in certain circles of the Catholic Church during and after the 1970s? What a tragedy that must have been for Catholics seeking God's will. Stories and testimonies like today's help prove that those circles of people who tried to stamp out adoration were involved in a futile attempt to un-catholicize the Catholic Church. No such thing would last with the JPII generation coming up the ranks! In today's culture, Catholics must call a spade a spade: Adoration is one of the most beautiful and fruitful forms of prayer that the the Holy Mother Church has protected and given to us in 2012. No heretical branches of Christianity will ever overcome the power of Eucharistic adoration, stories like today's proves it. And their are many on this website. Simply move your mouse over the 'Archive' tab above and then click on 'Eucharist' to hear more stories centered around Christ. With God's strength, Eucharistic adoration will only increase among all Catholics around the world moving forward in to the 21st century. It was blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta who said, 'you want to know how to end abortion in America? Just establish an adoration chapel across the street from every abortion mill in the country.' Wow, what a beautiful quote from a modern day saint. May her testimony bring great strength to all who read these words. May the power of the Eucharist laid out clearly in John chapter 6 of Holy Scripture, be the igniter of all apostolic works of the present age, including this humble attempt to evangelize the 'digital continent' thanks to inspiration from the one and only Pope Benedict XVI.

This past week was a huge stepping stone for OneBillionStories.com, as we were able to spend five days in the Archdiocese of Boston, a historically rich Catholic area of the country. But where are they now in 2012? What is the state of Catholicism in Boston in the 21st century? In the coming weeks and months stories will be streaming into this mission from Boston. Despite challenges in the past, it is evident that Christ has not given up on Beantown, not even close. During the days in Boston, Seth would spend his time recording shows for season 2 of 'One Billion Stories' on CatholicTV. But in the evenings, it was all story time, in a big way! The footage that you are about to watch in this video is from St Clement's Eucharistic Shrine in downtown Boston, about a stone's throw from Fenway. Every week, there is a group that meets there called 'Pure in Heart.' Which is a new movement in Boston centered around the Eucharist through Mass and Adoration, but also the study of Christ's teaching on chastity. The stories recorded from that evening were amazing. And today's 'Our Day of Rest' video speaks to the mystical nature of our faith through an ancient stone church and adoration in the dim red lights of Boston. Perhaps Pure in Heart could come to your city next? That is the goal, to spread the mission across the United States, learn more at www.pureinheartamerica.org

A family gets upset at the Church, and fell away from the faith while this young man was a child. Despite these hurdles, this young man overcomes the odds against him. God does not call the equipped, He equips the called. In fact, during those tumultuous years of seeking God without much support from the family, it was a brother who told this young man, 'be sure to take your confirmation retreat seriously.' Even though this man was a Protestant at the time, he knew that God's grace would be present at the retreat, and present it was! What has been your experience at adoration? Has your heart been reignited to new vistas of hope during that time on your knees before Jesus? Share your experience below this video. How cool woud it be if there was an app for adoration chapels all across the country? Our team is out here in Boston recording season 2 of One Billion Stories with CatholicTV. The footage is epic, and the stories continue to amaze people. You can connect to this apostolate by clicking on their logo over to the left. God be praised, now and forever.

A teen searching for happiness is the center of this story. Eventually, a double life style came into full effect in this man's life. Which led to judgement from others, and a rebellion against any and all Christians. Sound familiar to someone in your life? In the 21st century, this story is too common. Something must be done to turn back the tide of: 1) searching for happiness and fulfillment as a youth 2) seeking fulfillment in drinking or drugs 3) being judged by others rather than loved 4) skidding to a painful dead end 5) finding piece back in the Catholic faith. This vicious cycle continues to appear on this website. Steps 2, 3, and 4 do not have to happen in our opinion, not even close. Young people can pilgrimage through life from step 1 to 5 by staying close to the Sacraments; as a friend once said, simply be Catholic. God willing, the number of testimonies similar to this one will continue to decrease in the coming years. Let us look to the inspiration of Pope John Paul II, and NET ministries, to learn how we should reach out to the young people of this world. They are the future of the Church, and Christ's mystical body, they must be saved. Connect to NET, the apostolate that traverses the country in vans, bringing the Gospel and the Church to the youth of this nation and others.
