The Gospel Project is a gospel-centered Bible study material for the local church. The Bible is not a collection of stories. It is one story, the story of God’s plan to rescue His people from sin and death. It is the story of redemption, the gospel message of Jesus Christ. And it’s our story, too. The Gospel Project is a Bible study resource that invites Adults, Students, and Kids of all ages to dive deeply into God’s story of redemption through Jesus Christ. In every lesson, participants are immersed in the gospel and learn how when the gospel works on them, they become a part of the story, too, the very hands and feet in God’s gospel project.

Join us for this sermon series as we journey through the great book of Nehemiah. By the power of God's Spirit we desire to be a CHURCH for the CITY, NATIONS, and GENERATIONS. Especially, in this season as CrossPointe Coast seeks to extend the CrossPointe Movement in a growing city for the sake of an entire county, WILL YOU JOIN US? "We have a passion to see our city and Central Florida redeemed by the power of the Gospel for the glory of God. The desire of CrossPointe is not just to build a great church, but as we see in Nehemiah, to build a great city which worships Jesus and orients their lives around Him. We desire to build a church of many congregations that will be a blessing to the communities around us by pointing them to Jesus Christ. To see the beauty, harmony and wholeness of God's Kingdom reign in our lives and in our communities, as the Gospel radically reorients us to Jesus and His mission of renewing the world. Will you join us as we build a church that declares the Gospel for city, the nations and the generations. Will you join us?"

As we come together today to worship the Lord, there are many things that we as believers take for granted. We believe that the Bible, the Word of God, is indeed THE WORD OF GOD! We believe the Bible to be true, that it is a Divine document inspired by God and given to us as a direct and thoughtful communication from the hand of God. We also believe that Jesus Christ is the Incarnate Word, God clothed in human flesh, i.e., The Son of God. We believe that Christ is God in His person. God has revealed the glory of God to mankind in the express image of God Himself, the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that He, Christ, is the focal point of all of history and all of God’s Word. We believe that the Bible accurately speaks of and reveals Christ to us. He is the living Word. In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead, bodily. We also believe that there is an overriding message from God given to us in the life, words and example of Christ. This is the gospel, the good news, i.e., “God so loved the world. . .” (John 3:16). The gospel is the good news of new life, love, forgiveness, and complete transformation. All of these truths are at the very core of Christianity. Every true and effective church must be Bible centered, Christ centered and Gospel centered. The local church must be a church of the Word!

Conflict is something we all experience (regularly), but often handle in very fleshly ways. The gospel gives us a pattern and a means to healthy conflict resolution.

The gospel that works in us always works through us. It shows its power in our relationships and actions. One key way this happens is when we forgive others biblically.

In Matthew 16:18, Jesus promised that He would build the Church, and the gates of Hell would not prevail against it. Our role in the building of the church is to proclaim the fullness of the gospel in accordance with the scriptures (1 Cor. 15:1-7, Eph. 2:1-10, Rom. 10:14-17, 2 Tim 4:17, Gal. 1:6-9). When we assume responsibility for work that God never intended for us, or do that work out of any other motivation than a love-response to what Jesus accomplished on the cross, the burden becomes very heavy. But Jesus said, "Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matt. 11:28). Are you weary and burdened for all your religious striving? Come to Jesus and find rest for your soul.
