Sunday January 25th 7:30pm, Monday January 26th 1:00pm, Wednesday January 28th 6:30pm Alfred Hitchcock's classic Rear Window has been enthralling audiences for almost sixty years thanks to indelible performances by Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly. A thrilling foray into voyeurism, Rear Window is about professional photographer Jeff Jeffries who is wheelchair-bound after sustaining an injury on the job. Jeff is unused to sitting still for long and finds himself drawn into the world seen through his neighbours’ windows as he recovers in his apartment. He begins to suspect that a neighbour may have murdered his wife and he lures his high society girlfriend into his amateur--and dangerous!--investigation.

For over 2 years I have been wanting to author a graphic novel, a parody of Alfred Hitchcock's PSYCHO. I began making necessary props, and realized some of the action and backgrounds would need to be created digitally. Then the challenge became how to promote it without giving away too many "spoilers". The book is available for purchase from the publisher, and I am also making a .pdf ebook available. Please visit my web site for details. Hope you enjoy the sneak peek The book is 18+ for voyeurism and nudity, but totally non-violent.

House of Temptation is a story about a family whose faith is put to test by a force in a hundred year old haunted house. I am the writer, producer, director of the film. When we were shooting in this house, all the actors and crew felt a presence of an entity. We just knew it was there. The House wanted us to shoot this film there.

This short video-essay examines various themes and techniques Alfred Hitchcock developed throughout his career. Using 40 titles, it includes every feature film Hitchcock made from 1934 right through to his retirement in 1976. Of the several themes on display here (falling, ascending and descending staircases, opening curtains, reading newspapers, poisoning drinks, women's hairstyles, shoes, train compartments, sleeping and dreaming, pulling away from and dollying in on the action, overhead shots and characters looking directly into the camera), there are yet others for fellow essayists to examine further (looking through and climbing in and out of windows, nuns and clergymen, eating food, kissing in the countryside, women wearing glasses and people playing games such as tennis, hide-and-seek, fancy-dress and blindman's bluff). The essay is part of a series I am uploading for education purposes and as such, is protected by the Fair Use part of the copyright law of the United States.

“L’Altra Guancia” is the first song released on New Year’s Day by Sicilian songwriter Colapesce. The videoclip - made by Ground’s Oranges - refers to plots, photography and framing typical in the filmmaking themes of the decades between the ’40s and the ‘60s. Strong noir atmospheres swiftly become a means of access to this feminine and psychological drama. A rough love story, death, regrets occur in an upper middle class environment. The tragedy itself almost put the protagonists’ gender in the background: the whole story is happening between not only two lovers but two anguished human beings. The prologue and epilogue could be considered open to the viewers’ discretion. Filmed in one day only in the magnificent Plemmirio Natural Reserve and the abandoned lighthouse of Capo Murro di Porco (situated near Siracusa, Sicily) “L’Altra Guancia” is also a honest homage to Alfred Hitchcock, Michelangelo Antonioni, Ingmar Bergman and their timeless and inspirational masterpieces.

On the opening night of Jean Francois' (a budding new artist) exhibition at an art gallery, many so-called art connaisseurs have arrived to view exquisite paintings and pretentiously comment on the meaning behind these works. Eagerly anticipating the chance to meet this somewhat famous painter, the guests do not realize that something awful has happened to him. This short film is shot as an hommage to Alfred Hitchcok's "Rope" - where the entire scenario unfolds in real time and all edits are carefully masked.
