    I am tired. In the ideal world, people would not strive to reach the ideal outcome - instead they would settle for self-contempt and mediocre satisfaction, verging on “Fair Enough”. Imagine the rich man who does not want more money or the poor man who does not want what they don't have. Criminals would do nothing to achieve perfection in matters of crime. However we do not live in such a reality and I (as many other people, sane and insane) am lost to the pressures of my own ambitions and dreams. As my profession requires I aim for the best, which in my case would be a Pulitzer Prize. I do not know which one is required more. The luck - being at the right time and place, with camera permanently fixed to your hand - or just the skill. Perhaps both of them. But f*** the ideal world and f*** the prizes. If I had to award myself for anything it would be the patience of being an artist and my favourite picture.         Ping-Sheng Wu: The Resonance of Fragile _ Acrylic Structure, Paper, Iron Structure, Speaker, Copper Pillars, Electronic Amplifier Module _ Human civilization and history had been recorded on sides of paper since two thousand years ago. The invention of paper was a great leap in the technology that kept human memories alive. Today, new media have created a contemporary knowledge structure and expanded it to the margin of the universe. However, the excessive expansion eventually results in the neglect of remarkable pieces of information that we fail to digest in a timely manner. Nowadays, our retinae are obsessed with various forms of screens in which messages become the little things we enjoy in our daily life. The rapid flow of information serves as a stimulant to our superficial thinking. We will not cognize the emptiness and shallowness of our thinking until the effects of the stimulant wear off. When we keep gazing at the pieces of paper, a sense of alienation caused by losing focus gradually replaces the elegance and historicity of paper as a carrier of human civilization. I attempt to transform the media into a kind of materiality and challenge the dominance of vision by appropriating physical vibration. I blend the memories of real-life experiences into the work through the sound field created by the installation. It has been developed from his installation art works, "My-Ya-Rab" (vimeo.com/4641333) and "Not Quite a Total Eclipse" (will soon be upload). "Planet Tree" focuses on applying the kinetic sculpture for a more permanent feature by incoporating it with interior architecture, instead of showing it within limited timeframe of art exhibitions. However, this work is not only a result of the artist's development in terms of techniques and engineering, it also reflects a refined vision in terms of aestetics. It can be seen from the arrangement of the fins. From the previous works, the fins were arranged in the same direction, but in this works the fins are arranged in hatched alignment. As the fins' shapes have been designed to fit the alignment, when they move, the work gives diverse outcomes overtime. It is not static and predictable by looking at it from different points of views. Note: the movement displayed in this video is still under an ongoing development process. The next exploration will be shown in the next video clips.

                    Platz für Neues (Space for Something New) is directed not against the mythological figure of the dwarf, but symbolically creates space for something new and adjusted deadlocked conformity. By movement of the observer on the left or right side of the interactive video projection allows the reproduction of the garden gnome either wash away with water or burn it with fire down. If the viewer stands still, the garden gnome by itself builds back up again. Consistent with the opening of the International Design Fair Blickfang on 23 March 2012, there was at the same time the vernissage in the Carambolage of the interactive video installation.
