TIEMPO BBDO take the Concept of “Brand Immersion” to an Extreme. With Orca’s support, the agency participated in the Garmin Barcelona Triathlon and made a documentary from the whole experience. When an agency wins a new account, there is normally a brand immersion process which can last weeks or even months. The products are tried, their strategies and consumers are analysed, and studies are carried out to understand the market and the competition. But what happens when the brand in question is one of the most important triathlon wetsuit and compression clothing manufacturers in the world? In this case, trying to understand the market and its consumers is complicated if you don’t do a product test in an adequate environment.

            • Aquarade Product Test – Fieldwork Protocol

              from zseventyfour / Added

Video for the company TNS In order to test the new Aquarade formulas, personal interviews CAPI were run in halls in 2 cities (Madrid and Seville) where bikes were installed. The research was conducted among last month isotonic drinks consumers (either orange or lemon), aged 18 to 45, who do sport at least once a week. Once the recruitment was completed, we ask them to use a heart rate monitor (pulsometer) to do 10 minutes of exercise on bicycle. Respondent pulse was controlled all the time, to ensure that they were exercising between 60% and 70% of their maximum heart rate (which depends on gender and age) After those ten minutes, they were offered an isotonic drink (the flavor the consumed more often) and were asked to value it in different aspects. All drinks were blinded, served without ice, between 4 and 8 Celsius degrees, and in 33cl glasses so they could drink plenty enough. The products were stored in fridges all the time, always out of sight of the respondents, until the moment to evaluate them came. They were asked to do another ten minutes of exercise with heart rate monitor and try and evaluate other isotonic drink (the same flavor, lemon or orange, as the previous one) . Each formula is evaluated in first place equal number of times. Finally, they did a final session of 10 minutes exercise, after which they tested both isotonic drinks again and comparatively evaluated them.

So, here I go with another equipment test. I've been lucky enough to use lots of gear supplied by iFootage. I think the quality of the equipment is second to none. This particular slider has carbon fibre tubes and an aluminium carriage and end stops. The slider is light-weight and comes with an extremely well made carry case. I will update this review with some pictures and more information on using it in the field. Until then, check out the video above and take a look at the fantastic www.proav.co.uk to order the slider: http://www.proav.co.uk/shark-s1-bundle-version-camera-slider
