Nug Addiction | Luv the Nug | Live Life with the Lid Off Contest This video was used in the Live Life with the Lid Off Contest put on by Scotsman Ice. The video was ahead by more than 3,000 votes until, at the last minute, disqualified for using "Sweet Pea" by Amos Lee without permission. After notified, we quickly got a hold of Amos Lee's record label and received permission to use the song for the contest only. Unfortunately, Scotsman Ice wanted to possibly do more with the video (e.g. use it in a commercial) and Blue Records Label would not agree to those terms.

2011-03-26 A gorgeous March wedding! Rain, shine, rain, shine... the weather was rather unpredictable this time of year. But fortunately, it was nothing but shine! For those of you who are curious, Marianna comes from a wonderful Greek family. It was really sweet to see her father tear up when he first saw his Marianna in her wedding dress =) She was absolutely gorgeous! Marcin, the famous Polish bartender from the Roxy was at all times surrounded by his 'boys.' Just from hearing what other people had to say and just by being around him, you can get that sense of sincerity in him and you'll just know he will be the perfect match for Marianna. Thanks to Lori Miles from Sweet Pea Photography and her assistant Wynona for doing such an amazing job! Made our job 10x easier as you guys had the perfect poses for the bridal party! Congrats Mar & Mar! • Sucker Punch Review by Keith Kelly

http://www.innovativecommunications.tv I’m Keith Kelly. “Sucker Punch” looks like a mind-blowing action flick-going by the previews. How does the rest of the movie measure up? My review-coming up right now. Director Zack Snyder has shown by his previous work that he knows how to handle action sequences-just take a look at “Dawn of the Dead”, “300” and “Watchmen”. His latest offering, “Sucker Punch”, is also filled with some amazing battles-but the script, which he helped co-write, almost derails this ambitious film. I’m not going to go too deep into the plot here-it’s pretty complicated and convoluted, and I could easily spend the whole review just discussing what the layered script really is or isn’t about. On the surface, and in previews, it seems to be a video game-like adventure, featuring babes in skimpy outfits. The girls, who are played by virtual unknown s, are on a quest to retrieve several objects, the collection of which will aid in their release from an insane asylum. But that’s not what the story is about at all. Like Chris Nolan’s “Inception”, “Sucker Punch” is a journey that takes place in a mind. The film offers up three layers of differing realities-one of which is the “butt kicking schoolgirl” reality. Even though it offers up the heroines as smoking hot adventure babes, this film is really about the degradation and objectifying of woman, and the sometimes hopeless nature of male and female power struggles. The story is seeped in irony, showing the girls as both victims and empowered-which may slip by the casual movie going consciousness of most viewers, and just leave you confused. I mostly liked this bleak tale, especially for it’s outstanding visuals and Snyder’s imaginative handling of the fantasy action sequences. You’ve got steampunk Nazi’s, dirigibles, giant dragons, and sweeping dystopian vistas, all showcased in a very theatrical way. But I think most viewers will miss whatever the real mission of the film is, and find the scenes that are on level one and two of the mind-trip to be a little draggy. When this film makes it to DVD, I see a lot of fast-forwarding going on. I give “Sucker Punch”, starring Emily Browning and directed with flair by Zack Snyder, a grade of “B-”. I’m Keith Kelly.
