Herman is a loving bear who is sad to be left alone at home while his best friend Sophie goes to her first day of school. He decides to prepare a tea party to celebrate her special day which cheers him up. This is a story about sharing and caring for the ones we love. Even the littlest things like having tea together is all we need to do. This is my first animated short film that I created as a student at Vancouver Film School. I wanted to create my own character and develop a story that teaches compassion and shows how we can change our sadness into joy someimtes by what we do for others.
