Wonderturf is a new type of artificial turf featuring intelligence. Due to an inbuilt array of low-cost sensors, a field of grass is able to detect and make up the context that is active on its surface. Based on this, it is able to dynamically alter its lining to facilitate the activities going on. The user is not required to perform any form of arbitrary interaction with an interface in order to 'setup the field'. It will rather automatically detect various sports and games and create lining correspondingly. This product is a result from an individual project coached by Eva Deckers at Industrial Design, TU Eindhoven. Note that this university holds all the rights with respect to both the physical product, its designed and programmed intelligence and the concept as a whole. Music: Panic!
