The Center of the Universe: The Gainesville, Florida Poetry Movie My name is Mike McShane, founder of Son of Sham. In 2007, I began work on a film called "You Are Not Frank Sinatra." Simultaneously, poet David Maas started a weekly poetry and open mic outlet called "The Word is Spoken." While in production on the film, I filmed several of the evenings where my father performed. This is where I was introduced to some of the many poets on the Gainesville Poetry Scene. I have collected over sixty hours of many different poets of many styles over the past six years. There has been an interest by the poets to see their work. I have decided to start working through the footage and develop a ninety-minute documentary showcasing these local poets. We are the chroniclers of our time Son of Sham (est. 2005) is a production company founded by Mike McShane, a local Gainesville, Florida filmmaker. He has produced “It’s All Good,” “The Votive Pit” and “You Are Not Frank Sinatra.” He has been a staple to the Gainesville theater/film community as a director, designer, actor, and documentarian. from Thrice / Added

I couldn't find this climb in the 2011 Guidebook. It is quintessential bouldering on a rope. My best guess for the grade is 11c. The crux revolves around a long pull off a good mono (Brilliant!). Bring a brush! It is dirty but should clean up to be a nice addition to the area.
