16 friends from Lithuania snowtrip to one of the biggest skiresort of Austria - Ischgl. Despite all the obstacles in the road, we found it almost perfect - beautiful mountains, different weather, nice people, huge amount of snow and powder in offroads. Fun to ski, snowboard and to fall down ;) Camera: Canon EOS 550D, GoPro HD Lenses: Canon EFS 17-85mm Edited: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Twixtor

from Adam L. Roy / Added

The final product is 36 minutes long, and it's a heck of an interview with Patrick Mah of Blue Willow Restaurant in Oliver, Edmonton. As a spur of the moment thing, I decided to wield my iPhone as a camera and show the world exactly how many cuts and edits went into this dealy-majigger. And given the nature of the video, I found it prudent to use my distinct "tutorial voice" for this video. I knew you'd all find it a ton more professional. Is it just me, or does only one dude voice every media tool tutorial on the internet? Not that I'm complaining. His dulcet tones have set me to slumber on more than one occasion...

In my motion graphics class at UNC, our first main project was to remake a selected portion of a movie title sequence with a twist. We worked on this project with a partner, and my team chose to remake the title sequence to the movie 500 Days of Summer. The title sequence for this movie can be viewed here: http://www.titledesignproject.com/2010/01/500-days-of-summer-main-title-sequence-by-imaginary-forces/. As a twist, our team chose to feature an academic school year at UNC; thus, 247 Days! We used the original title sequence for inspiration, but we created all the graphics and animation from scratch! I hope you enjoy our project! (Note: This project was created as a class assignment in which we were to faithfully recreate a pre-existing title sequence. This assignment was purely for educational purposes, and I do not claim to own the original concept and animation).

As a break from texture building in an environment I'm working on, I decided to speed-model a DJ-style turntable. Low-poly, quads.
