Under the tutelage of Ernie Higgins of Waterlines Unlimited, Micah Wood has quickly learned the craft of board building. From designing boards to shaping, glassing, resin pinlining, glossing, and polishing, Micah has provided himself with rare skills to be a one stop shop. And with great attention to detail and his skills on the surfboard, particularly the nose, Micah has been able to hone in on creating a better board. Being a creative mind, his prowess with the hands and eye also lends to some beautiful artwork on top of making surfboards. In particular his watercolor paintings and abstract resin pieces, are a strong reflection of that artist within.
