The LikeLight is a thumb that blinks for Facebook likes. It's made up of a custom lego set, arduino w/ ethernet shield, and a little PHP interaction with the Facebook Graph API. During the build I hooked it up to LilWayne's Facebook page so it would blink a lot. It BLINKS A LOT!!! Like a strobe light! It's actually still pointed at his page because we like to see it blinking in the office. If you look close at the PHP code in the video you'll see his reference. A little more detail on the build here http://redpepperland.com/post/3785566578/let-your-likelight-shine This was all filmed on my FlipHD I got for Christmas btw. Oh, and the song is a remix of All of the Lights (Kanye) http://su.pr/7yu4MR @hypem

Together with the great guys from Oracle we from Developer Garden hacked a Nespresso coffee machine, connected it to a Raspberry Pi PC (with Java running) and controlled the coffee making via Phone (thanks to the Telekom Tropo API and a little bit of PHP). Please note, the video is just a rough cut to illustrate our proof of concept.

Keystone XL, and tar sands oil, are emissions-free wonders that will do everything good you ever thought possible. (At least according to the American Petroleum Institute.) Let's take a look at the organization that has been lobbying their heart out to get Keystone XL approved. (You can read more on my website.)
