        Man this was a good power session. So much core, so much sweat. My arm balances are feeling muy fuerte and my body was allowing all sorts of fun binds and deep poses. What fun!

            A yoga practice is intended to be a form of meditation. The meditation has both immediate and long term effects on our thought patterns, our brain, and our bodies. But we can forget the meditation in aiming for the workout, the pose, or simply in going too fast. This is a full spectrum, complete class with advanced postures thrown in (press handstand, vinyasa handstand, headstand, eka pada galavasana and eka pada koundinyasana b, urdva dhanurasana). Newer students can use this sequence as a way to approach those poses and come closer to them - remembering and learning that we are never, ever going to have it perfect and that the first rule is to do only what you can with the body of the day. Those who are working to add those pieces into their practice have here a tool to work on them consistently over time and watch how things change over a few practices, a few months, and a few years.
