Here’s my latest reel showcasing work from the past few months. Even in such a short time span I’ve worked with a lot of amazing folks including but not limited to Arts in Context, KLRU, Les Rav, Blue Lapis Light, The Hollywood Reporter, Robert Griffin III, The Velvet Cartel and many more! If you or anyone you know is looking for someone to help them make a video, let me know! I’m looking to expand the number of people I work with, so any help getting the word out is much appreciated. I'm a writer, director, editor, cinematographer, and motion graphics artist. I'd love to help you on your project! I'm also the co-creator/writer/director of Hardly Sound. It's a music documentary series over on KLRU, Austin PBS. It's kind of a weird show. It's as much a series of personal essay as it is a traditional documentary. I like how Tribeza Magazine put it: "[They explore] the musician's story as an emblem for universal struggles and triumphs of artists of all media." Whatever grand idea or project you have, I'm sure I could help in some way with my many years of production experience. Contact me any time at chris@hardlysound.com! Music by Royal Forest.

“On January 8th, 2010, I received a call informing me that I had breast cancer. Since that moment, the eyes I see with belong to someone I do not know, and my body is a foreign puzzle with missing pieces. Every day I am newly surprised by the decimation of what my life once was.” – Sharon Marroquín Sharon Marroquin, an Award-winning dancer and choreographer whose life drastically changed when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, uses her art as an expression of her personal struggle. In this episode of Arts In Context, Marroquín explores the relation between the choreographer and the dancer. Every year, some of Austin's influential artists, architects and entrepreneurs travel south to Presidio County to honor the late artist, writer, cowboy sage and visionary, A Kelly Pruitt.
