This video of the city Kampen is a combination of paintings and video images made by Ben. Ferrie made the soundtrack. I used the idea of an earlier video of mine 'Aquarel'. https://vimeo.com/18000543. I captured the video images on the same spot as the paintings I made. I used the paintings as an overlay. Hope you enjoy the images of my beautiful city Kampen. You see the windmill 'd'olde Zwarver' and the church 'de Bovenkerk' in this video. 2012 Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 3.0 NL ferrie = differentieel http://dailym.net

Saturday 4 februari 2012, was a cold but beautiful day. At 07:15 in the morning it was -18 degrees Celcius. The first shots were taken with these temperatures near the city Kampen in the Netherlands. Very cold but also a great spectacle with beautiful colors and fog. Later that day it was very bright and clear with awesome white landscapes. http://dailym.net/2012/03/white-world-by-ben/ Music by ferrie = differentieel 'Strike the Cello' is an attempt to Tame the Strings this is the well known composition of Henry Purcell that i did some months ago at http://audio.dailym.net/2011/12/strike-the-drums-in-a-free-way/ "Strike the Cello" by differentieel is licensed under a Creative Commons License "Strike the Cello" (differentieel) / CC BY-NC-SA 3.0

This was a sneak peak video for Adobe CS6 and Adobe Creative Cloud that myself and the other CONAN editors made shortly before the release of CS6. We wanted to make something similar to our original FCPX video and Adobe was kind enough to let us show off the interface since we worked on the beta. A look around my office at the house. I have been collecting 8mm film cameras for years. I really like Bolex equipment, they still produce a Super 16mm that is very popular in film schools. Most of these I have refurbished / rebuilt and they purr like kittens (fully functional). This is what we did in the old days before Vimeo and HD. Yep – people had to visit your house to see one of your movies, plus you had to set up your screen and projector, how wrong is that. I’m more of a “Zero Human Intervention” person – long live Vimeo :-) Shot with a Sony EX1, Brevis 35 with flip, 28mm / 55mm / 85mm Nikon lens’ and the LCP 36” camera slider. Edited in Avid Media Composer 3.0 with a touch of Magic Bullet Looks. Output H264, 6K max, auto key frame, no frame reorder and same frame rate – shot at 1080p 24fps. Music is US Blues – Greatful Dead from Mars Hotel (1971).

Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a video of your Hawaiian vacation might be tagged with "Hawaii," "beach," "surfing," and "sunburn."
