        • Oklahoma Regatta Festival 2011

The Oklahoma Regatta last fall drew in the Olympic Rowing Teams from Canada, Germany, Italy, and the United States from what I observed. I didn’t see China as billed to be present and never heard the reason for their absence. There were several prestigious schools present as you might catch a glimpse in the video; Harvard, Stanford, and numerous notables from around the country. My perception of the ‘Boathouse District’ as it is named – is that it is a recruiting lure for the Natural Gas Industry to Oklahoma City for some of the talent that might be accustomed to rowing as a sport. Just my personal opinion. Oklahoma isn’t generally a state well known for physical fitness otherwise. I believe Oklahoma ranks at the bottom of nearly every associated list in regard to physical fitness. You will hear in this video that the regatta was almost humorously like an infomercial for the Natural Gas Industry and Oklahoma City generally. I didn’t particularly focus on clips that I had to highlight this, but it was prevalent throughout the Regatta and couldn’t be missed. I actually did enjoy spectacle of the regatta and being exposed to the sport. Again, I’m not just trying to be a hater for the sake of being a hater. These are amenities of the Natural Gas Industry in Oklahoma City that I can’t help but to view as being symbolic of the corruption that I believe has been the torment of my life here. This video is more of a test of Vimeo for me. I’m not a super talented videographer/editor to begin with, but in particular I wasn’t shooting for showing off any skill if I had it in uploading this. I was more interested in getting something together to test the 1080p and what I might expect for quality if I am aiming to upload a longer video than a short and keep it under the 5 gig cap. This video is approx. 36 minutes encoded to a target of around 17.5 mbps 2 pass VBR. I’m trying to gauge at what point there is a diminished return on Vimeo in terms of source supplied to output quality of Vimeo’s encode for streaming. I might be interested in uploading my entire documentary once completed if I can upload more than 36 minutes of video and it still retain decent quality. I’m sure at 720p I might easily be able to do that, but I would like to keep the full 1080p of some of my clips if I can. There are a few of these symbols of the boon to the local economy that I might go back and reshoot if needed to make a little more polished video to upload. I might not have great talent, but my camera does take some stunning images I think and I hate to short it on its potential by compromising the resolution on what might wind up downloaded from this site.

Scouted out a backdrop to play around with the camera and get some video of the Street Bob’s pipes. My Youtube channel has the most hits of any video on it of my Harley Nightster’s pipes revving. There actually is some element of my life story regarding the biker lifestyle that I grew up around. I finally was able to purchase a bike after the last round of me being more or less brainwashed to believe I was insane again in 2007 and subsequently getting a job with the Oklahoma Department of Vocational Rehabilitation where I had been a client since around 2003 or so. I had been on SSDI since 2002 or 2003 living with my parents in their garage. I’m undecided to what degree I am going to include the biker element into my documentary. I suppose that I had some notion of not only finally owning a Harley and the enjoyment derived from that, but I had accepted that either I was insane or that the government was never going to provide the justice that I believe I deserved for violation of my rights. I believe more context might be that the patriotic element of purchasing a Harley plays a role in the Harley Davidson Corporation being a supporter of resolution for my ordeal and possibly providing one of many alternate means of me finding opportunity to not be dependent on Oklahoma’s Natural Gas Industry for ‘The Business.’ I believe that George W Bush throws a petulant fit over the idea that I am allowed to escape Oklahoma and not be under his Iron Fist in ‘Bush Country.’ I haven’t mentioned the W element yet on Vimeo, but yeah – that’s what this is all about. I believe W decided to declare me to be ‘under surveillance’ in 1999 and my life went in a tailspin as a result of that. I am still battling the consequences of it to this day and I believe my life to still be in danger of everything from imprisonment to death as a result. The longer resolution for my ordeal can be postponed the more of a chance that it won’t ever have to be dealt with and covered up totally. My intent is to tell my side of the story as I have mentioned. There are numerous stories attempted to be circulated. A ‘political hit job’ I believe is the reference that might be appropriate. One day it is all about me having ‘The Business’ and how W is ‘just trying to help me out’ and the next day I am being punished for crimes that I was never convicted of and I dispute validity of warranting conviction. Regardless, I believe that my privacy has been violated in a manner unprecedented and likely in ways that I don’t even know about.
