      • C100 Mk II Colour Match with C100 MK I

        from sortoffilms / Added

Test to try and match the C100 MK II with the C100 MK I using a grey card. All corrections applied by using the colour dropper in fast colour correct Premiere CS6. Didn't push it any further as I wanted to see if there would be a quick fix solution. Even after correction, there are colour differences. In daylight they do appear to match closer. Recommend downloading to see full differences. Check out our other comparison video here: https://vimeo.com/116657534

          • The House Painters Paint Stripping Service

#theousepaintersnz are highly skilled paint strippers, experienced in safe, eco-friendly paint stripping. Paint removal is a potentially hazardous undertaking – if it is done incorrectly, there can be long-lasting effects. The Auckland house painters take this area of the decorating process very seriously. We ensure that both our clients and staff are safe and protected at every stage of the process. The house painters have undertaken extensive research and training and are Master Painters Lead-Based Paint Removal Accredited. This means that we know and understand the risk and have identified and developed specialised systems to minimise them. But knowledge is only half the equation. As in any specialist field, specialised equipment is needed to do the work. This includes encapsulated stripping machines, stripping products and specific vacuum sanders designed to minimise dust. All this costs money, but people stripping paint without these tools are endangering not only themselves, but also their clients and neighbours. WHAT MAKES PAINT TSRIPPING DANGEROUS? The basic danger with stripping paint lies in the type of paint that is being stripped. If it is lead based, then doing the stripping incorrectly can lead to lead poisoning. WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF LEAD BASED PAINT? Many homes built before 1980 were painted with lead-based paint. Over time, more and more coats of paint have been applied over these original lead paints – sometimes as many as twenty coats! With the increasing weight of the paint, and because paint itself has a limited life, the original lead-based paint undercoat has given up holding onto your weatherboards. It starts to fall away and lead-filled paint chips fall to the ground. These paint chips can leach lead into the soil and if picked up by children, or eaten by pets can cause lead poisoning. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO REMOVE LEAD BASED PAINT? Many techniques and specialised equipment are needed to remove lead-based paint safely. The house painters excel in this area. As our Master Painters Lead-Based Paint Removal Accreditation shows, we know and understand every aspect of the process, for safe removal for both you and our staff. If you are having any form of paint stripping done, make sure that the company is a Master Painters with the nationally recognised accreditation for safe removal. Don’t put you and your family or staff at risk! IS ALL PAINT STRIPPING DANGEROUS The paint on your house may need to be removed because of bad preparation on a previous job, or possible bubbling. This paint may not be lead based. The best way to evaluate this is by doing a lead test, which the house painters do on any property as standard practice.

Please download original file available to really see the difference. Check out our other comparison video here: https://vimeo.com/116777720 A very unscientific test comparing the picture output by these cameras at various iso settings under tungsten light. Straight out the camera, they don't match. Even after auto black balancing the differences are still there. The picture quality of the MK II is pretty obvious however. Also a short comparison of AVCHD vs MP4 in the C100 Mk II.
