www.rydcook.com www.projecttrident.com rydcook@gmail.com On a certain road (which I can never remember the name of) in Cambridge, there is this shelf built into a fence, beside a house. It is the Recycling Shelf. The idea is that anyone can put any unwanted goods there for other people to take for free! I often pass the shelf, and its always good fun to have a look and see what's been left there. This film is a collection of photos taken throughout 2010, depicting a collection of some of the stuff that has appeared on the shelf. Shot on a Canon IXUS 75 stills camera (that is now broken) and cut by myself. This is my second collaboration with Ned Wilson Eames (http://vimeo.com/user2247097), who has created some awesome music for the film. Check out our first collaboration "Waiting..." if you haven't already seen it! http://vimeo.com/rydcook/waiting The film was edited first, and then Ned composed the music to the film, I then did a few more minor edits, and the film was complete!

Alain Ducasse's restaurant at the Plaza Athénée has just re-opened. The Chef tells a more personal and radical story, following a path he initiated twenty-five years ago. He introduces a cuisine of naturality, that revolves around three key elements: fish, vegetables and cereals. A healthier, more sustainable and environmentally-conscious approach. The Kiwiland: Dedicated to Nature, Adventure and Friendship On 20th October 2014, I embarked on a 5-week solo trip to New Zealand. Throughout my journey, I climbed mountains, walked one of the NZ's greatest walk, hiked on a glacier, jumped off the plane at 15000 ft, hitchhiked with strangers, made new friends and spent some quality time with each of them. It is definitely one of the best time of my life. This video will take you through everything I experienced in New Zealand and hopefully you will be able to feel the natural high I felt throughout my travel in the Kiwiland. Enjoy. Places I went in chronological order: - Auckland (Mt Eden) - Rotorua (Wai-o-Tapu) - Lake Taupo (Tongoriro Crossing, Huka Falls) - Wellington - Picton (Snout Track) - Nelson - Motueka (Abel Tasman) - Westport (Cape Foulwind) - Franz Josef - Wanaka - Queenstown (Ben Lomond Mountain) - Te Anau (Routeburn Track) - Lake Tekapo - Mt Cook (Hooker Valley walk) - Christchurch - Dunedin (Tunnel Beach, Aramoana Beach, The Peninsula) Music: Azure by Greg Haines (All credit goes to him) Camera: RX100 Credit: Nzone Skydive (http://nzoneskydive.co.nz/) for the skydive footage Greg Haines (https://greghaines.wordpress.com) Megan, Viola, Ashley, Rachel, Jess, Milena, Laura, Robert, Matteo, Melina Häck, Tulu, Yvonne for appearing in the video. :)
