Around 10,000 riders participated in OCBC Cycle Singapore 2012. Watch as Zendogs Kevin and Kenneth take on the 39km Challenge on our foldies. Kenneth rides his modified Dahon Vitesse, while I ride the Bike Friday Tikit Express (9-gear Capreo hub). Starting from the F1 Pit Building, we make our way up Benjamin Sheares bridge, straight through to the end of East Coast Park Expressway (ECP), make a U-turn and head back via the ECP service roads, climb Benjamin Sheares Bridge once more, only to zoom down in the fastest descent I've ever made on my bike through Suntec,City, whizz a few tight turns and race to the finish line at the F1 Pit Building once again. In this 1hr 20min GoPro video shot from my helmet, watch for a really nasty accident where a poor rider smashes his head onto the road, ending up on an ambulance stretcher. This is just before we make the U-turn on the ECP. Details on this event: http://www.togoparts.com/articles/article.php?artid=2290

Happy new year 2012 and may it bring many more adventures! Please be warned - There is some bad language in here mainly due to Vietnamese people trying to rip me off all the time! Apologies. Music list - will get it up soon (Jimi Hendrix, The Kinks, Hans Zimmer (Last Samurai and Batman), Quruli, the vapours, steppenwolf, The Doors)

In 2010, Sat Nav Sam became the first person in the World* to ever cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats and play music gigs and festivals along the way. He cycled the length of the country on his own and this full length film shows the high and lows of his life on the road. Filmed and edited by 'Sat Nav' Sam Stephens himself, in late 2010 he set off on a "slightly bigger" adventure to cycle around the World. You can catch up with his progress on that adventure at: www.2010tillwhen.com Sit back, relax and enjoy the first full length "real" Merbus film. (P.S. All the songs heard in this film can be found on the debut Sat Nav Sam album available to download on iTunes) *(that we can find any record of anyway)
