This collaboration was a God send. Drake from Urban Organic called me one afternoon in February and asked me if I would be interested in "getting some footage" on a new artist he was working with named, Charity. After listening to a couple youtube links that he forwarded, I was seriously intrigued by this 20 year old ingenue from Detroit. The first thing that stood out to me was how she strummed the guitar and belted out beautifully sublime lyrics. Yet, it wasn't until I turned on the camera at her U of M performance that I realized that this young woman is a major major talent with an amazing gift. Charity is such an magnificent artist, I want to share this visual with the world; hence, the french subtitles. It would only seem natural to translate Charity's essence into the language of love.
