While working on the projects presented in the previous demo reel, I've improved myself on photo manipulation and matte painting by working onto pictures given by teachers at FXPHD. Most of the time the goal was to change a part of the environment of those pictures. Here is a short demo reel showing breakdown of my work on those exercises.

Kyla Hansell is a Year 8 Teacher at Tamaki Primary School. Kyla uses the digital environment to drive the way she engages students in ongoing formative assessment. Transaction costs in teaching and learning are lowered by curriculum and task management functions in the digital environment. Almost no organisational moves are made by Kyla as she works alongside her students. Kyla and her students have a shared understanding of the work and what is expected and students are self-pacing around organisation of learning activities including their time with the teacher. The digital environment seems to enable that where teachers use it well. - essentially an increase in efficiency. In this short clip, Kyla briefly outlines the ways in which she and students can access student work for assessment and ongoing learning

Kyla Hansell is a Year 8 teacher at Tamaki Primary School - here she talks about how she builds complexity into student learning in the digital environment. For Kyla, this starts with best practice - deliberate acts of teaching, effective scaffolding and feedback, knowing your learners and high quality planning. Teaching as Inquiry is integral to Kyla's success as is strong, effective leadership of teaching and learning in her school. Kyla's process for building complexity involves assessment for learning (formative assessment), high quality task design using models for learning (Blooms, De Bono etc) that make learning relevant and accessible to students; and ensuring that critical thinking and information literacies are taught throughout her teaching and learning programmes.
