Bitterness and hatred consume one man, who desperately wants to see the outside world. Filmed in the tradition of The Twilight Zone, 'Failure Means A Drowning Death' is a dark tale that reveals the evil that lurks in the hearts of men...

Can you imagine a word without recorded sound? Its hard to do. But before Edison's invention of the phonograph the only way to listen to music was live – or via a live radio broadcast. We all live our lives rushing around against the backdrop of one soundtrack after another. A main goal of the film is to enlighten the audience as to the history of sound recording and help them appreciate its significance. Today there are only a few record shops left in the UK where you can purchase your own vinyl. Spotify and MP3 music files take priority, with click-of-a-mouse download. Sadly, the social element of sharing music is disappearing very quickly too. More info: talkingmachinesmovie.com Please support us in making the film here; indiegogo.com/Talking-Machines
