This short documentary by Prescott College student, Kaitlan Troy, follows the Public Art and Mural class. This month-long intensive block class was a cross-collaboration between the Natural History Institute (NHI) of Prescott College and Prescott College art students. The class, under the guidance of the NHI, created a mural featuring Native Arizona plant and insect species on the wall of the institute. Professor, Julie Comnick and students discuss their experiences, from the development of the concept, to the consensus processes to the painting and production. Just an ordinary class at Prescott College!

This is a video made primarily for the students involved showing every student's contribution, but one cut above a video that "only a Mother could love" in as much as it shows an intimate portrait of the process of creating the songs, skits and set for the show which toured Maine and was performed at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic, CT. Really good in showing the process; only slightly indulgent in amount of the material of the show. Submitted for the cast (now young adults with children themselves) and to see Doug Day in action in the process of teaching how to create an historical musical, soup to nuts.
