PLEASE WATCH FULL SCREEN HD FOR BEST VIEWING EXPERIENCE Music by Massive Attack entitled "Atlas Air" In 2010 I started exploring the art of directing. For me, directing is the art of composing action in scenes and guiding actors so that they can deliver their best performance. This reel is focused almost exclusively on projects that involve the direction of talent. I was also Director of Photography on all of these projects. Thanks to the many clients, actors, crew members, mentors and inspirational works that have helped me grow and learn the art of cinema. ______________________________________________ PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT: Canon 5DII 28-300L f/3.5-5.6 IS 28-70L f/2.8 100 Macro f/2.8 70-200L f/2.8 IS Zacuto Z-Finder Pro Manfrotto Heads & Tripods RedRock Support Systems Glidetrack HD ______________________________________________ POST-PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT: MacBook Pro Final Cut Studio 3 AfterEffects CS4 Adobe Photoshop CS4 Adobe Illustrator CS4 MPEG Streamclip Adobe Media Encoder+ More details

When a headstrong filmmaker (Austin Hillebrecht) gets a lowly job at the worst film production house in town, he leads a disillusioned film crew into hijacking their company's latest movie, filming a better version behind the back of their overbearing director (Corey Brunish). Shot in Portland on a shoestring budget, Coup de Cinema is a moving and hilarious tale about dreams achieved by guerrilla tactics -- a heist comedy about the love of filmmaking. www.coupdecinemamovie.com Visit us on IMDb! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1776137/+ More details

Directed by Marc Isaacs in London, UK for the 94 Elements project. Become part of the project now at www.indiegogo.com/94elements There are 94 naturally occurring elements, from Hydrogen to Plutonium. Together they make up everything in the world. The stories of the elements are intimately connected to the stories of our own lives. Everything we use and create is made from them. Our own bodies are mostly made from just 6 of the elements. They affect our lives in countless ways, and their stories reveal our relationship with our resources and the patterns of our economies. They are the untold stories of our physical existence. 94 Elements is a new web-based global filmmaking project, exploring our lives through the lens of the elements. The project is creating a collection of unique human stories by award-winning filmmakers and the best emerging filmmaking talent about the endless ways the elements touch our daily lives. Each filmmaker will create an authored 4-7 minute film around a way we extract or use one element. The films are surprising and moving human stories involving the elements – this is not about science, but about our human relationships with our natural resources. Visit the project website at www.94elements.com MAKING THE FILM "I chose Oxygen as it seemed to offer the best opportunity to make a film with a simple human story. Myself and Guy King, the researcher, were invited onto a ward dealing with severe respiratory conditions in a London hospital and the first person we were introduced to was Bob. The hospital staff clearly liked him and I immediately understood why. Despite his desperate medical condition, he was extremely optimistic, remarkably kind and not without a sense of humor. After a little consideration, I decided to shoot the film with Bob over one long night. I decided just to be there and experience something of his situation without any tricks, complicated structural considerations or big narrative ideas. David Katznelson (cinematographer) myself and Guy stayed at Bob's flat all night, sleeping in the room next door so we could shoot him waking up. As we packed our kit in the morning, Bob couldn't thank us enough for taking an interest in him and his life. Sometimes films come together quite simply without too much agonizing."
