Makeshifts (2014) is a hanging installation of over 600 plastic objects which were collected over a period of about 18 months from the streets and shoreline around Edinburgh. The fragments started life as mass-produced objects, but each has taken on a unique form as a result of having been broken and discarded. Makeshifts was exhibited at the Hidden Door Festival, East Market Street Vaults, Edinburgh from 28 March to 5 April 2014.
