The education of an architect consists of a variety of skills, techniques, and information. Not only in school but in the professional world as well, architects find inspiration through researching precedents. The problem is that the wealth of interconnected data regarding architectural history (relationships of architects to significant projects, exhibitions, publications, and other architects) has never been developed into a single, cohesive, beautiful and easily navigable database. This research proposes to create an ever-growing digital database which visualizes the vast amounts of information regarding architectural history and allows for user updates to increase the store of knowledge.
