Created by: Marc Donahue & Sean Michael Williams For Booking and Press Inquiries contact info@permagrinfilms.com Dream Music: Part II is a musical voyage into the depths of the subconscious. This lyrical narrative reflects on the perception of time within dreams and waking life. Filmed on location in 2 states over the course of 6 months, we explored our new production technique of what we call 'lyric-lapsing', to achieve the surrealistic feeling of movement. We built upon the foundation of Part 1 with ambitious ideas that usually took around 6-8 hours of work for 3-4 seconds of footage. Our goal was to pioneer a new film genre by telling a story through art and music. Part 2 was made to transport the viewer from their own reality into a world of dreams and at the end, they awake to wonder how we were able to take them there. Each scene was born from the symbolic meaning of the lyrics and overall message of the film; Time is the illusion within the dream of life. The SLAM TV 'HEART REMAINS OPEN Video Project SLAM TV is teaming up with Australian hip hop artist JOELISTICS (Elefant Traks) Verb Studios and YOU to make an 'open source' video for his song 'Heart Remains'. We are inviting everyone to be involved in the making of the video by contributing your vision of Australia through this group. HEART REMAINS is one of the standout tracks from Joelistics 2011 album 'VOYAGER'. Written while on the road, Joelistics has channeled his feelings about his homeland into this epic ode to what he calls "my version of 'I Love A Sunburnt Country'". From the ghosts of history to the cities of the present to the stars in the red center it paints a portrait of a thousand faces of Australia. Listen to the track Heart Remains at soundcloud.com/elefanttraks/joelistics-heart-remains To create a truly diverse portrait of our country, SLAM TV is inviting the Australian community to contribute to this 'Open Source' video portrait. As disciples of the Great Soup Pilgramige, Melbourne band TZU spend their days traveling the lands in search of fine foods, finer movies, and pumping out some of the funkiest live hip-hop in Australia. Talking to Radio Dingbat over dinner on the last night of their recent national tour, MC Joelistics and company talk about TZU’s early days, their current iteration as a seven-piece, and their latest album Computer Love. This fantastic live set was recorded at the Newport Hotel on the 3rd of August, 2008. Please note that Count Bounce was unable to perform on the night due to illness.
