      I didn't have a lot of footage of my travels through Laos; I took some shots of the people and the country, some selfies and some of the waterfall in Luang Prabang. And I also took my GoPro on the tubes (tubing video Laos: https://vimeo.com/110310099). For this video, I tried a different style of cinematography and editing, more focussing on details and slow motion using an anamorphic format (aspect ratio 2.35:1) which gives the footage a more emotional look and feel.         Setiembre 2014. Época de lluvias en Thailandia y Laos. Calor soportable y de repente, el sol se marcha y una tormenta que parece que el mundo se va a acabar. Todos estas preparados para la lluvia, nadie deja de hacer nada. Deja de llover y todos recogen sus toldos, sus cubos de agua y la vida sigue, exactamente igual... Barcos, tuk tuks, bicicletas, comida callejera, masajes en la calle, motos pasando por callejones donde el agua les llega a las rodillas a los tres (muy normal ver tres conductores en una misma moto) perros libres y niños jugando con una bolsa en la cabeza ... igual que antes pero con lluvia. Una lluvia que suena diferente. Con sus rayos y sus truenos que no dan miedo. Suenan como a tranquilidad, a calma, a ... aquí no pasa nada. Como casi todo en Thailandia. Solo llueve. Es normal. Normal y muy bonito. Aquí unos cachitos de lluvia que gravaba en algunos momentos de paz.
