In 2006 after being angered by Hurricane Katrina, I made a documentary film that distilled the black experience in its essence from the middle passage to New Orleans 2005 and everything in between. The film, Bicentennial Nigger, was an adaptation of Richard Pryor's monologue. It plated in three film festivals and won best experimental film in the 2006 Atlanta underground film festival. In 2007 I uploaded it YouTube with no incident where it garnered 8,100 views and a 91% favorable rating, and in 2013 I uploaded the film again while attempting to upgrades YouTube channel and the film frame per frame the same as had been uploaded in 2007 was banned and both versions removed for violating community standards. This film is my quest yo get someone from YouTube to tell what the standards are who the board and what is their qualifications? The broader question being this isn't Sergey Brin an immigrant from the former USSR engaging in the same censorship that his parents left Russia to escape?

With laserlike precision, President Barack Hussein Obama focuses on the issues that matter to Americans, employing logic and empirics to support his policy. He’s so “fancy”. • Gov. McCrory Meets With President Obama, Talks Medicaid Expansion

(Aired 1/6/15 on Time Warner Cable News stations) WASHINGTON -- “A very serious conversation, at time debates and a lot of listening, too on both sides.” That’s how NC Gov. Pat McCrory described his Tuesday meeting with President Obama at the White House. McCrory and other members of the National Governors Association had the president’s ear for about an hour in the Oval Office. The governor says he was personally involved in conversations about three issues, including ways to maintain and improve the states roads and bridges. “We made a commitment to work with the president and the Secretary of Transportation to try to develop new plans we can present to Congress,” McCrory said. Exploring what kind of oil and gas resources lie off the North Carolina coast. “I actually thanked the president for Secretary Jewell’s support of our seismic testing off the coast of North Carolina -- to give us permission to do that,” McCrory said. And the governor also raised his potential proposal for expanding Medicaid in North Carolina under the Affordable Care Act. Medicaid is the state’s health care program for the poor and disabled. The governor wants a federal waiver that would allow North Carolina to craft its own Medicaid plan. But McCrory said President Obama told him he was concerned about the precedent it would set. “We did not get assurances, but I thought we got a pretty good response,” McCrory said. The governor says he still hasn’t made up his mind about expanding Medicaid. But he said he would first want to revamp the program to control costs … and potentially limit its reach. “We want to encourage people to continue to explore job opportunities and training opportunities to get people jobs …to become independent of government. Not dependent on government,” McCrory says. While McCrory is leaving the door open to expanding the program, he’ll have to convince the state legislature to go along with him. Nearly 320,000 low-income North Carolinians would be covered under the program. And if he’s to move forward, McCrory says he wants a North Carolina plan not a Washington plan. - See more at: http://centralnc.twcnews.com/content/715603/mccrory-meets-with-president-at-white-house/#sthash.LAmi7pgO.dpuf

                • Republicans Take The Reins Of 114th Congress

(Aired 01/05/2015 on Time Warner Cable News stations) WASHINGTON -- Lawmakers are returning to Capitol Hill as the 114th Congress begins on Tuesday. President Barack Obama is back home in Washington after a two-week vacation Hawaii, but he’ll find himself in unfamiliar territory when the new Congress convenes on Tuesday. For the first time since 2006, Republicans will control both the House and Senate. Republicans pledged an end to gridlock and dysfunction in Washington after their sweeping midterm election victory in November. “Looking back at the last few years at how the leaders have run the respective houses of Congress, it’s unlikely that we’re going to see much of anything change,” said John Hudak, fellow at the Brookings Institution. And the year is beginning with a few headaches for House leadership. The GOP is defending number three House Republican Steve Scalise after it was revealed that he accepted an invitation a decade ago to speak to a White supremacist group. Republican Congressman Michael Grimm resigned last week after pleading guilty to tax evasion. And Texas Congressman Louis Gohmert and at least one other Republican say they will challenge John Boehner as House Speaker in the new Congress. Over in the Senate, new majority leader Mitch McConnell says the first order of business is pushing forward the Keystone XL oil pipeline. And there are few signs that McConnell and President Obama might be able to work together. “There’s a chance that he and president will be able to come together and get things done. But it’s less about Mitch McConnell and more about the members that Mitch McConnell has to work with,” said Hudak. For his part, President Obama says he welcomes the opportunity to work with congressional Republicans. But he says he will not dismantle his major domestic initiatives such as health care reform. The president is now operating from a position of strength. A stronger economy and low gas prices have lifted his job-approval rating to 48 percent. That’s as he faces a new political landscape. - See more at: http://centralnc.twcnews.com/content/715546/lawmakers--president-prepare-as-114th-congress-convenes-tuesday/#sthash.qmjUzRop.dpuf

NEW YORK, NY (January 7, 2015) — Body in Motion Music, a NY based Music Company is pleased to announce the release of “Hello Sir.” A new single by writing collaborators, multi-talented musician, vocalist and arranger, Paul Gomez and writer Terry Kennedy. Paul Gomez has written and recorded over 300 original compositions collaborating with songwriters such as Tom Dowd and Harry Chapin. Mr. Gomez has been heard on countless recordings over the years. On “Hello Sir”, Gomez not only does the vocals but also plays keyboard and guitar. In this recording he merges his experiences into layers of musical dimension. While incorporating storytelling and arranging the song in a unique way, “Hello Sir” demonstrates Paul Gomez’s eclectic talent. This thoughtful musical composition has been produced as a video essay highlighting the current events of our time and includes the highs and lows as seen through the eyes of the media. The composition explores the perception of those in positions of authority and questions the ability to display self-control in trying situations. The song reminds us that issues of racism, police violence and are events in the mid-east are issues that surface again and again. The video follows the civil disobedience from Ferguson, Missouri, the brutality of ISIS and the ongoing challenges in Afghanistan. The song confronts our feelings about our relationship to these events and begs to ask timeless questions about paradigms of these age old issues.
