    • Art Models Video Studies - Vaunt Bath clip1

      01:34

      from Art Models / Added

Bathing is a common theme in art, so we thought an Art Models study of a woman bathing might be a good place to start in our experiments with video. Any other suggestions welcome! For almost a decade we've been creating photos of models in static poses for art studies. We thought it might be interesting to add video, which would allow artists to pause at exactly the moment they want to draw, paint, sculpt, etc. It also continues in the tradition of Muybridge(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eadweard_Muybridge), allowing artists to study the body in motion. Shot at 1080p and 60 frames per second, when played back at 30 fps gives half-speed slow motion. Please let us know what you think, if you'd like to see more, and suggestions for other subjects.

Tokyo is a city like no other; a sprawling metropolis that never ceases to amaze. In this video I wanted to explore the many contrasts of life in the city; between the young and the old, the traditional and the contemporary, the fast and the slow, the eastern and western influences.
