You can get the firmware upgrade for free here: http://bit.ly/fEPR0j Visit my blog here: http://www.tomguilmette.com/archives/1681 Kessler SmartLapse software is now available in the Oracle controller. This upgrade allows users to record a non-linear and dynamic camera move into the controller and playback that move over a long period of time. You can playback a ElektraDrive motor equipped Cineslider, Pocket Dolly, Shuttle Pod or Revolution move from 30 minutes to nearly 30 days. This makes creating amazing timelapses with calculated movements very easy.

Some snapshots i took during the T-RECS Event at the reopening event of the the technical museum in dresden. I had a great time ... saw a lot of stuff & met some nice People ... this time in real life. (kinda a mini meet-up with Maik Thomas form T-Recs ...) It also was great to see the Kesser Crane stuff in real life & action as well. I really liked the smoothness, look & feel of the Crane they had "on location" ... i really was amazed by the quality of all the stuff ... as well as how small the package can get for "transportation" ... ... i'm looking forward to see more in the feature ... :) You can find more info & another clip made by T-RECS here: http://vimeo.com/20269382

We´re only had one day for shooting the film. Not enough time to make realy big things. We shoot the big hallways and the big wallpaintings with motion controlled timelapse technique to get brilliant highres images. We made this to capture these images noisefree with the available light situation. The RAW format gave us the dynamic range in the images we´ve needed for the postproduction.
