"Privacy Affairs" is a short about the visualisation of protest against a fictive social network called "GAZEBOOK". Personal data packets, which are represented in cyberspace by glassy futuristic cars, are scanned by a program and their comments are displayed publicly for the entire world wide web. Even those who are willing to stay anonymous are traced penetratively. ,,Privacy Affairs" is a project of the student Fabian Ferley, which has been created in second term of the degree program Digital Film Design of the Mediadesign School in Berlin in 2011. Unfortunatly there were some time limit restrictions, so the whole plot hat to be told in 30 seconds. In addition, i mismanaged the time consuming render process, os i had neither time to render the muffler smoke trails, nor the holographig flying letters in motion. Maybe I'll update that an other time...

OREC is not your typical diploma. Four OREC students describe what they gained from the Outdoor Recreation Management Diploma (OREC) at Capilano University. Kristen Wozniak grew up in Central Canada. For years she hiked canoed and snowshoed in Algonquin Provincial Park. After finishing a Geography Degree at Trent University she left Ontario for beautiful British Columbia where she taped into her spiritual well being. Donald Grant is a local North Vancouver-rite who joined the program straight out of high school. He came to the program to gain the skills to find a future outdoor job. Now he participates in more outdoor sports and has more qualifications than he can handle! Kyle Corrigan grew up in Revelstoke, BC. After travelling and working for several years he decided to go back to school for something he truly enjoys. He loves exploring and personal growth and has found amazing opportunities for both in the program. He recently purchased some land with friends in Guatemala and would like to start a sustainable business someday Gwyn Thomas grew up in the suburbs of the city of Vancouver. After finishing a History degree at the University of British Columbia, he decided to pair his degee with an Outdoor Recreation Management Diploma. In the program he found a place where he could easily relate with everyone, almost a second family.
