Yonder Blue Films is a production company based near Atlanta, Georgia that produces content worldwide. One of our favorite services we offer is low altitude aerials with a remote controlled multirotor helicopter. This demo reel contains some highlights from past shoots. We've recently filmed for "Dumb and Dumber To" and a Michael Bay production (footage not shown here, both projects to be released in theaters in 2014). We film for advertisements, TV, and feature films. If you'd like to learn more, visit our website: www.YonderBlueFilms.com Or follow us here: www.facebook.com/YonderBlueFilms www.twitter.com/YonderBlueFilms We use the best equipment available. These scenes were filmed with Panasonic cameras mounted on either a Vulcan or Cinestar frame. Our batteries are supplied by MaxAmps (www.maxamps.com). The camera gimbal is made of parts from FreeFly and RC Rotors And Aerial Media. We use a Hoverfly Pro flight controller with Futaba radios. Please note that all people featured were willing participants. Appropriate safety measures were taken. Don't fly near people unless you have the experience to do so. Never fly over crowds. Fly safe! Feel free to ask any questions in the comments. All the best, Yonder Blue Films

We filmed this commercial with our Cinestar 8 multi-rotor helicopter with a Panasonic GH3. The ad was produced by the awesome folks at Crawford Media Services. The agency was the friendly folks of Creative Alliance. The ad was for the forward thinking folks at Louisville Gas & Electric. Our links... www.YonderBlueFilms.com www.Facebook.com/YonderBlueFilms www.Twitter.com/YonderBlueFilms Links to the companies... http://www.Crawford.com/CMS/ http://www.cre8.com/ http://lge-ku.com We're powered by MaxAmps batteries. We used the Hoverfly Pro flight controller. We used the kit lens, mostly at the wide end. We shot at 60p to allow for more control in the speed changes. It was all shot in one day at a secure location, and it was a ton of fun.

PLEASE DOWNLOAD ORIGINAL FILE FOR 1080P. The GH2 is shooting with Chris Brandin's 44M patch. The GH3 is shooting 50Mbps using the QuickTime wrapper. Both camera's picture profiles are set to "Standard" Contrast=0, Sharpness=0, Saturation=0, Noise Reduction=0 Both cameras are shooting 24p with shutter at 1/50. White balance was matched for every shot. Visit www.yonderbluefilms.com/blog for the full write-up. View the GH3 test flight here: http://vimeo.com/yonderbluefilms/gh3-flight Note: This test is not exact science. While it won't answer every question about how the two cameras compare, it's an accurate representation of what a GH2 and GH3 look like side-by-side when shooting with comparable bitrates and settings.
