Curiosity and experience taught me it was okay to talk to strangers. Besides, they usually had better stories. I found there's something about watching a person open up and talk about their life that helps me remember that the world is much larger than my circle of influence.

I began shooting video to pass the time while traveling overseas with music groups in college. Over time, my video work improved and I began to have more opportunities to run a camera than use my formal education.

My video camera has taken me around the world to share the stories of world leaders, the impoverished, and plenty of people in between. I believe that everyone has a story and I'm humbled to know that I have the opportunity to share it with a larger audience.
