Indeed, and I still use, as it's a MUST for my circumstances and I am eagerly awaiting the day a new one will be released, but fearing it won't be. Like I said, having resumable uploads is a MUST. Is there a list anywhere of 3rd parties who make stand alone uploader apps for vimeo? Maybe some of them have resumable uploads and are still continuing development of their app.

I could have sworn I could do this with the old Vimeo uploader app. Thanks for the clarification that it is not possible with the new vimeo format. Is this something being worked on? Is it seen as a need? It is pretty significant where I work and pretty much a MUST as our internet and power comes and goes constantly. Any large upload takes the better part of a whole day.

This is two questions rolled into one. With your old upload app, you could resume uploads. First, is resuming an upload (say after losing an internet connection) possible with your new upload interface on the web? Second, is there an update on releasing a new stand alone upload app?
