Calum de Hartog

I am a Toronto based writer/producer/director and veteran Police Officer. I spent my early years walking a beat in Parkdale and Regent Park before landing on Special Weapons Team Seven of the Emergency Task Force (SWAT). My creative inspiration comes from the landscape that has surrounded me for almost 15 years as a police officer - the inner city. The 'street' has always been a character unto itself. Full of secrets and personality. I listen with my eyes, and if you listen closely, there is no shortage of incredible characters and stories filled with triumph and tragedy, love and hate and everything in between. I am a passionate story teller and love to collaborate with like-minded artists. I have created content for advertising agencies, television networks and artists from across the creative spectrum. I am represented by CAA.
