Telefunka is an electropop trio from Guadalajara, Mexico, comprising several styles and influences such as dance, rock, disco, house and techno. In its nine years of existence has become one of the most solid and avant-garde proposals within the electronic scenery in Mexico as well as in Latin America, participating in the most important festivals of the area (Brahma Beats 2005 - Argentina, Rock al Parque 2006 - Colombia, Festival FFF 2007- Ecuador, Festival Centro 2010 - Colombia, Vive Latino 2005 / 2011 - Mexico, Festival 212 2011-Mexico) and with the most representative musicians (Gustavo Cerati, Adrian Dargelos, Anita Alvarez de Toledo). They have also played with bands and djs such as Daft Punk, Massive Attack, Deep Dish, James Lavelle, Dave Seaman, Junkie XL, Zuker, Kinky and Ladytron.
Telefunka is made by the the brothers Giancarlo and Aldo Fragoso (sax,guitar,synthesizer, vocoders,toys and voices, and bass, synthesizer, vocoders and voices), and John Zohlo (pianos and synthesizers).
At this moment the band is promoting its new LP Invisible (2011), that is being produced and recorded by the Fragoso brothers and edited by their own label, Discos CaloDofo.
