Tequila Chan was graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, School of Design with Bachelor of Art (Visual Communication) in Honor, and Master Science of Multimedia and Entertainment Technology. He worked with several local multimedia companies in developing web site, edutainment and e-commerce applications. Later on, he joined Agence France Presse, one of the third biggest news agencies around the world. As the first Multimedia Designer in this global agency, he was focus on the development of multimedia in news reporting and Internet application.
Since 2003, he established his design Company, and also be involved in design education area. As a visiting lecturer in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University – School of Design, Community College of City University, The School of Continuing and Professional Studies of Chinese University, PEAK College of VTC, as Course Director in Multimedia Design in CO1 Design School.
He was Associate Professor in Shantou University – Cheung Kong School of Art & Design – Digital Media Design
Now, he is visiting lecturer in PolyU School of Design.
His current focus study areas are included: Interface design, Interactive Art, game design, edutainment, and design education.
He has gained the following honors:
