From Text to Cloud is a collaborative research project led by Richard E. Miller and Paul Hammond. We are trying to imagine what composing will look like once the destination ceases to be paper and becomes the screen. We have been developing a pedagogy for teaching students how to compose with text, still and moving images, sound, and music. We are interested, first and foremost, in exploring these matters as a means for generating new thinking about the most serious challenges of our time.
