The Gold Project
The Gold Project is a video project that will take course over the 2009-2010 season. The project is loosely based off of my lucky acquisition of a USSA Gold Pass thanks to a sweepstakes I happened to sign up for while shooting an event last season.
The idea behind the project is to travel as much as possible with a small crew of talented kids and to shoot with the local talent at the resorts we go to. I want to try to get everyone involved who would care to be. The goal is for this to be a fun project that everybody can get involved in.
This season we have teamed up with CS Films, a production company based out of upstate New York. Through collaboration we are going to be putting out a full length ski movie documenting the 2009-2010 season in all aspects. We have spent countless hours gathering footage from Pennsylvania to Maine, and everywhere in between. In the movie we will be covering everything from handrails that you may have driven by a hundred times, to back country terrain hidden miles within the woods.
