Impressive Music Background
Beautiful and charismatic; Kammy stands for her deep musical research and precise technique. With an impressive musical background and extremely refined musical taste, she's able to create remarkable techno sets.
Her amazing versatility blends a perfect atmosphere with the dancefloor and a repertoire that explores different electronic music genres, going from techno, dark and it's variations to flirting with electro and full synth sounds.
"I never limit myself to one style. A quality sound, with attitude, and dance floor oriented is what I try to convey in my sets", explains Kammy.
Techno Pioneers Recommend
The compliments received (recommended by Dave Clarke in an interview) and tours realized around the world (Latin America, Europe and Asia) are the biggest rewards for her. Becoming part of the worldwide scene at a young age, she is gaining attention wherever she goes. Kammy has been praised by great names such as
Dave Clarke - who invited Kammy over to Europe for the first time to play on his stage at Pukkelpop -
Ben Sims, Alan Oldham (DJ- T-1000) and Santiago Salazar from Los Hermanos, who recently said:
"She's the real deal".
Vogue Mag, Cosmopolitan and TV Soaps
Kammy is a DJ frequently appearing in the media in her home country of Brazil, already featured pages of Vogue and Cosmopolitan, besides a selection of newspapers and local media. No stranger to the screen, she has been interviewed on a number of TV shows and featured in one of the biggest audience soaps in Brazil from GloboTV called "Belissima" - a party scene where she performed playing Nitrosound and Kammy's track "Voyager".
“Quebra Tudo” Nights in Rio
In 2007 Kammy began to host her own night at Fosfobox club in Rio and presented to the wonderful city some of the best techno acts from all over the world including names like Ben Long from Space Djz, Miss Yetti, Takaaki Itoh, WJ Henze among others and also giving opportunity for emergent DJs in the scene to play. The night ran succesfully until December 2009. During the following year she moved to Europe to study music production.
Now Kammy has relocated to Amsterdam; where she is spending time learning the skills to make the tracks she has spent so long playing. Working with hardware and concentrating on the quality, not quantity of output, you can expect to hear some serious techno sounds coming from the Lady Machine and her own vinyl label being released in the next few months.
