Based in Pittsburgh, PA, the intrepid �Post-Apocalyptic-Pop� trailblazers, The Van Allen Belt are on a mission to elevate. Since their 2008 debut "Meal Ticket To Purgatory" they have pressed onward into uncharted territory of concept and production. Employing a sonic who's-who of music over the last century, The Van Allen Belt have created an unprecedented musical style. Influenced by an eclectic variety of artists, from the ground-breaking to the legendary to the underground, The Van Allen Belt stitch influence directly into their album sleeves with heavy sampling, live instrumentation, and one of the most distinctive singers in the music world today. The production of the recordings by B.K. Ferris in their home studio dubbed Nonstop Everything Records builds the character and feel of the songs.
