There are many reasons a someone starts a band, most of us started playing music to impress a girl, though, these days, our trees have grown taller and our roots have grown much deeper into this thing we call music. Jon is from Seattle, Sean and Drew are from Colorado and Dan is from Oklahoma. We were all raised singing hymns and listening to oldies... Dylan, Holly, Withers and The Beatles. The Motown sound stood out to us, vinyl was king, 3 minute pop/rock songs filled our ears with sweet choruses and catchy hooks. These days, those same ears are filled with The Decemberists, The Black Keys, Pedro the Lion and Bon Iver not to mention anything under the 80's dance pop header. One common answer as to why we started a band is a simple one. We play because we love to, because there is a chance to connect, over the most common and easily expressible language: Music. We play this music because we love it, we are grateful for those of you who love it as much as us, we are simple people who live simple lives, and if we end up playing in only our garage, to just our families and friends? we will still play these songs. Though, we would prefer it if you would join us.
