My name is Russell Brownley and I am about documenting the world as I see it. It's about bringing purpose and life to every story I tell. Whether it's a documentary in India, or a commercial in Los Angeles, I strive to have my passion for others to come through each and every project I work on. From the islands of Indonesia, to the trash dumps in Nicaragua, to the neighborhoods of Southern California, the story is in the people who live it.

I have spent the last seven years of my life working on various projects in more than 40 countries with different non-profit organizations, Television Networks, various Production Companies, and whoever wants an idea or passion to come to life. Past clients include Starbucks, Pepsi, Bose, Motorola, Caribou Coffee,We Are The Rhoads, Google, YouTube, CBS Sports, Fuel TV, UFC,
SPIKE TV, Reef, Cheri Sundae Productions, Travel Channel, Animal Planet, OWN, Generate Media, Houseblend Media, Halogen TV, Compassion International, World Vision, and Samaritans Purse.

My website ( and Vimeo Page ( is a collection of work that I have compiled over the past 7 years of my life. It is an opportunity for people to see what my passion is and how I tell stories of the world around me. If you have an questions about any of the videos please feel free to email at

Everyone wants to change the world... I am hoping for me, this is a start.
