Yea, that appears to be a Houdini bug. In my version I used the primitive type of "Polygons Only" for the Font SOP. Where as you have "Bezier Curves and Polygons". I think this is causing the problem, but when I switch the type in the Font SOP to "Polygon

Hi, Mathew, thank you for this wonderful tutorial! I learn a lot from it. I tried out in the exact way you build the process. But the result seems to be shown quite differently when the Scene Render is set to GL3.2. I'll report this to the Houdini team
